Mahama is the worst person to make excuses for. He’s been an MP, Deputy Minister, Minister, Vice President, and is now in his second term as President. The time for long speeches explaining the problem is over. You know what the problems are. Get to work and solve them.
They announced the award scheme a month ago, and even Edem condemned it. He can’t tell us he didn’t see it or wasn’t informed about it. Until someone is punished, this is a 0/10. He should go and come back again, this doesn’t cut it.
Galamsey, looming water crisis, Accra flooding, market fires, dumsor, striking doctors, undersupplied hospitals, transportation issues.
The country is being run so well that your ministers decided to attend an awards night in their honor.
This is equivalent to the e-levy cake situation in my books. So out of touch with reality.
The country is flooding and you’re awarding yourselves for, *checks notes* doing your job???
Mahama resorting to this lazy excuse is pathetic. If you’re not going to be ruthless about enforcing laws, nothing will change. If you’re not going to be ruthless about tackling proper planning in your capital city and country, nothing will change. It starts with you.
The ritual of treating the Supreme Court as though it were a hub reserved for lawyers with Methuselah-like years of practice is backward.
Although experience does matter in law, it is possible for a young lawyer with enough preparation to be able to advocate effectively before the Supreme Court.
There should come a time in our national life where we stop worshiping things merely because they are old. We must understand that the world is rapidly evolving, and people can learn through avenues beyond mechanical apprenticeship.
Dome-Kwabenya residents deserve better. Kwabenya–Brekusu, Haatso–Ecomog, Old Ashongman–Abokobi, and Musuku–Ashongman roads are all in deplorable condition. There isn’t even a 1km stretch of good road in the constituency. Fix our roads now! #FixDomeKwabenyaRoads
