I see that some wag has updated the classic graphical observation about how much street space is available to people by adding some pavement parking. Chapeau.
The Dutch ride bikes for transportation around cities so much, the resulting air pollution & CO2 emissions savings are the equivalent of planting 54 million trees a year. Air pollution is estimated to cause 3.7 million premature deaths each year. Via @WEF.

—Street space in square meters needed per occupant
Car: 244 g
Bus: 18 g
Pedestrians/cyclists: 0 g
