#MadlangaCommission | WhatsApp extracts reveal an exchange between Mr Mohammad Sayed and Major General Feroz Khan on 7 July 2021 following a post by Yusuf Abramjee calling for investigations into the proliferation of illegal cigarettes in South Africa.
In the exchange, Mr Sayed writes: “Abramjee gonna get fucked up bru”, to which Major General Khan responded: “Fuck him up bro” and “He must stay in his lane”.

These were questions prepared for the Minister of Police (Bheki Cele) about his alleged relationship with convicted drug lord Timmy Marimuthu.
#MadlangaCommission | Extracts of a WhatsApp conversation between Mr Mohammad Sayed and Major General Feroz Khan reveal scheduled discussions about ongoing police investigations as well as a prospective tender for the supply of SAPS-branded face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the exchanges, Major General Khan directs Mr Sayed to urgently provide samples and pricing of the proposed masks, indicating that he was due to meet with “a guy” who would allegedly “make it happen”.
