Jesus said to Paul,“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinth. 12:9). Paul then said he would boast in his weakness for Christ's sake (12:9). I don't like weakness; I prefer strength. But God gets the glory when I need to depend on him.

1 Samuel 16:7: "But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” We need to ask God for his eyesight.
