From what I’ve seen, Russ is the only vet who really brings the energy and is embodying the principles that Scott and Doug have been preaching since before the season. Hopefully this press conference makes something click but it’s been a tough situation for Doug from the start.

I loved this interview. I really like Doug, his mindset and the vision he has but like he said, the problem is it needs to resonate with the individual players and the team. The vets claim they want to compete but don’t show it and don’t lead this team like they should.
