I've been seeing other perp venues to enable a PTB like batching solution to their platforms. I'm obviously bias but this along with how Sui's gas/storage works was the main driver of us spending time on the network since 2022.

At @AftermathFi, our engine is built entirely around Sui's PTBs.

The secret on AF is, the more events or calls you pack into a single transaction, the cheaper the overall cost per action becomes. It is essentially a bulk discount for compute.

Since you're packing 10+ events into a single tx, your actual gas cost drops to ~0.000199 SUI per event/call.

You are placing orders, canceling stale quotes, and replacing all in the exact same atomic transaction, for literal fractions of a penny.

You can't do this on an EVM. You don't need a centralized off-chain sequencer.

It is fully on-chain, fully verifiable, and economical.

We’ve been looking at Sui’s Seal completely wrong!

Most people assumed Seal was just a "decentralized Dropbox" for encrypting files.

They missed the bigger picture.

As @kostascrypto recently highlighted, Seal isn't just for data encryption. It is the missing UX layer that makes private crypto usable in the real world.

Here is the problem Seal solves 👇

To use private money effectively, you actually need TWO different keys:

1️⃣ A Signing Key: To prove the money is yours and move it.

2️⃣ A Decryption Key: To actually see your balance and transaction details.

Crypto has mastered #1. Tools like Ledger, multi-sigs, and zkLogin are great at proving who you are.
But they were never designed for #2.

🛑 This creates a massive UX nightmare.

If you have a private token, how do you audit it? How do you view your balance without exposing your master key?

If a Treasury uses a 3-of-5 multisig, who gets to see the encrypted data? The signers? The auditors?

✅ The Solution: Decoupling Authority

Seal separates "Who can Sign" from "Who can Decrypt."

This distinction is the unlock. It enables scenarios that were previously impossible:

⚫️ Hedge Funds: Traders execute the swap, while Compliance audits the position. Different keys, different roles.

⚫️Confidential DeFi: You swap on a DEX using Google Auth (zkLogin). You have no private key, yet Seal lets you decrypt the trade confirmation based on your identity.

You can have perfectly encrypted coins, but if you can't reliably recover the keys to view them, they are useless.
