@og_albina Honestly most of the mons that were great older gens are all still great as sleeper picks. If I had to pick one, probably latios. Even after the buffs it feels underwhelming.

@og_albina Ban Tera zarude, it’s unfun to prep for since if u guess the Tera right zarude does nothing but if u guess it wrong it can win off preview (part of why it has underperformed recently, it’s a gamble). Unban reshiram, it’s kind of slow and awkward typing defensively.

@og_albina Iron treads for the big budget ones. Rocks+spin+amazing resist profile. Jumpluff for budget. Screens+tailwind+sleep powder+encore+leech. Name a utility move and Jumpluff has it

@og_albina Don’t be afraid to go against the norm and embrace the chaos of a match. It’s good to have a general game plan pre match but be prepared to throw that game plan out the window on preview if necessary and don’t be too invested in it so your gameplay isn’t rigid/predictable.

@og_albina Mega Diggersby. Give it huger power. Doubles attack and special attack. And give it return back or a normal stab which has the same bp. Buff it’s sp attack 20 attack 30 and speed 50. Regional variant of diggersby: give it an ability that doubles its sp attack instead of attack.

@og_albina Raikou. It’s outclassed by every other cheap fast electric yet normally is priced like twice the price of them. I usually see it 12 but ngl if I don’t have glowking on the team I wouldn’t pick it for 6 without Tera.

@og_albina Diggersby, when I see nat dex leagues price Diggersby at 10 a small part of me dies inside. Who needs to waste a turn setting up rocks with your ground when you can just unga bunga hit them hard.

@og_albina Diggersby is the best Pokémon in draft format and gamefreak did not release it in scarlet and violet since they are cowards and know what it would do with Tera.

@og_albina A fairy ground type (screw raging bolt) or a Pokémon that can punish tera better (terablast stellar just isn’t good enough with its low bp and drawbacks). Maybe give introduce a move like Zamas behomith blade but for Tera.

Paldeadex: Munkidori. Unique resist profile, grounded poison, nuke, fantastic coverage and trick access make it a lot better than people think.

@og_albina Type synergies are overrated. Role synergies matter more in drafting. Like if you are drafting cacturne as your ground resist, you don’t have a ground resist.
