Did you know Malaysia has just one-fifth the EV charge points of Singapore? CPOs want to deploy more chargers along highways but why is it so hard to do so in Malaysia? What is the government doing? @PetraJayaMP@AlexNantaLinggi

BREAKING 🇨🇳 China sets the world’s first mandatory EV efficiency standard—and Tesla is already miles ahead ⚡️
On January 1, 2026, the electric vehicle landscape in China will face a new reality. The State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has finalized GB 36980.1—2025, the world’s first mandatory national standard for EV energy consumption.
Moving beyond voluntary guidelines, this new "hard floor" regulation tightens efficiency caps by approximately 11%. Manufacturers now face a strict ultimatum: optimize your technology or face regulatory roadblocks.
To understand the impact, look at the popular 2-ton vehicle segment (typical for mid-size SUVs). Under the new rules, these vehicles must not consume more than 15.1 kWh per 100 km.
- For many automakers: This requires urgent technical upgrades to keep their SUVs road-legal.
- For the industry: It promises a 7% average range increase for consumers, weeding out energy-inefficient "guzzlers."
While competitors scramble to upgrade their powertrains, Tesla sits in a position of distinct strength. The company’s long-standing obsession with low drag coefficients and powertrain efficiency means its fleet is essentially "future-proofed" against these new laws.
Take the Tesla Model Y, which sits squarely in the 2-ton weight class. While the new government limit is set at 15.1 kWh/100 km, the Model Y typically clocks in at just ~12.2 kWh/100 km (CLTC).
By already performing nearly 20% better than the 2026 requirement, Tesla doesn't just comply with the new standard—it sets the benchmark that the regulation is trying to push the rest of the market toward.
There’s a false narrative that you cannot open a Tesla’s doors without power, but that’s not true. The real issue is that it’s not obvious to rear-seated passengers.
Jowua offers a fix with this pull set for Model 3 (2024+) and all Model Y vehicles.
In this short video, I discuss the manual door release, show the rear door issue, and demonstrate how to install the Jowua pulls. TechOperator approved!

imagine paying money to be less safe, how moronic
Tesla has now released 4 videos of FSD (Supervised) operating outside North America, highlighting impressive progress in neural net scaling:
🇳🇱 Driving through the narrow streets of Amsterdam, Netherlands
🇦🇺 Right-hand driving in Melbourne, Australia, including the unique hook-turn maneuver
🇫🇷 Navigating the traffic jungle of Paris, France
🇫🇷 Handling the highly challenging Place de l’Étoile roundabout near the Arc de Triomphe
Need to be constantly beware of incoming rogue car coming out from the bend or corner… maybe the driver checking socmed while driving and just oversteered into my lane… luckily just near-miss.
