I don’t believe this pop today. $QQQ right into the 200D. And the “war is almost over” narrative is getting old. I see this getting sold pretty quickly.
I’m getting whiplash reading the posts here today considering yesterday was all doom and gloom.
The first rule of trading is to leave the bias at the door.
Future flat, big names are on either side of the goose egg. For today, looking for continued buying pressure. Yesterday showed that the range on $SPX is real, regardless of news. I’m focusing on two names today:
$NVDA over 181
$NFLX over 97.5
Here’s what I have for a plan. Key is patience for me:
$TSLA 400C over 397, 385P under 390
$NVDA 180C over 178, 170P under 175
$AMD 185P under 190
$NFLX 97C over 95
The volatility continues. Big gap down looks to be caused by fear in the Asian markets to me. Key is to see if we get another bought dip like yesterday or if this is truly the breakdown of this months-long range on $SPX. I’m working on plans for both scenarios. Be patient today.
$NVDA into resistance here off a big pop. Careful not to chase. The move was through 176.
This is a note to me so I don’t donate my profit to those more patient than me.
Buyers showing up at the bell. A few key players going RTG, like $NVDA and $NFLX. Let’s see if the market follows. Don’t get trapped either way, friends. This is tough trading.
Futures deep red, oil and metals soaring. Today’s action may be tricky as the market tries to price in the situation in the Middle East.
Remember, the market is forward looking. It doesn’t care what happened. It tries to price in what comes next. And the situation is volatile.
Market is flopping like an angry fish. I’m leaning toward calls today, though. Here’s my playlist. Best to see SPX hold 50D.
$TSLA 410C over 409
$NVDA 190C over 187.5
$NVDA 180P under 185
$NFLX 93C over 92. News
$XYZ 66C over 65. News
All eyes on semis today. If we can hold up off $NVDA decent report, the market can pretty easily move higher. Here’s my playlist:
$NVDA 200C over 197.5 (after IV crush)
$AMZN 215C over 211
$TSLA 420C over 415
Also watching the setup on $AMD. 220 breakout level.
While the market really needs $NVDA earnings to make a bigger move, here’s what I’m watching today:
$AMZN calls over 211
$SPX calls over 6900
$QQQ calls over 610
With resistance above and news coming, it’s possible we reject these levels and range one more day. Size accordingly
