@jawed_974@CnuuyS@Fatalix57@irregintellect I just described to you in another reply that HUMAN WOMEN are the only people capable of becoming Nikkes and are often turned into them against their will. It's a completely blatant denial of their autonomy. That's literally objectification my guy.
@jawed_974@CnuuyS@Fatalix57@irregintellect It is related to feminism as it is critiquing the act of objectification. They are seen as objects rather than people, which is exactly what the Commander, Pretty, Oswald, etc have worked so hard to dismantle. Objectification can happen to anyone, but its largely towards women.
@jawed_974@CnuuyS@Fatalix57@irregintellect They're not equal. Men have the luxury of not being revived against their will into an instrument of war with little to no rights at all. You're also forgetting how there is no access to contraception in the Ark in order to keep births constant. So no, women and men are not equal
@CnuuyS@Fatalix57@irregintellect Remember how there was a whole ass side story where they illustrated the extent of Nikkephobia in the Ark? Remember how every fucking Nikke has nanomachines injected into their brains so that they can't disobey orders?
I can't tell if you haven't played the game or are dense.
@CnuuyS@Fatalix57@irregintellect They are, in the story. And it's portrayed in a negative light. Remember Smile Time? Remember how the Goddesses were betrayed by the Central Government and seen as instruments of war, rather than actual people?
@zaemax474453@irregintellect Both can be true. While the game does use sex appeal to attract players and makes them a product to buy and collect, most of the story entirely subverts it. It's not all or nothing.
