A woman should be accompanied by a mahram(a relative) on her pilgrimage. The prophet Mohammad said it’s not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Hereafter to travel more than three nights without a mahram.

A Prophet is one who receives Revelation from Allah of a law, but he isn't commanded to propagate it, only to practice it himself. A Messenger is one who receives Revelation from Allah of a law and he is called upon to propagate it and to act upon it
