BREAKING:
The US and Israel dropped bombs on an elementary school for girls in Iran’s city of Minab.
36 little girls have been killed so far.
People are still pulling bodies from under the rubble.
Not militants. Not combatants.
Little girls. Students.
This is terrorism.
The United States of America and Israel has just bombed a school full of students in Iran.
~40 students killed and 48 injured.
This violates Article 52 of Additional Protocol (I) Geneva Conventions, but international law clearly doesn’t apply to the U.S. and Israel.
Sky Sports News reports: 14 former international cricket captains including ex-England skippers Nasser Hussain and Mike Atherton have issued a humanitarian appeal for Imran Khan amid concern over his health in detention.
Pakistan govt should read this appeal from former cricket greats like Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Ian Chappell, Mike Atherton , Nasser Hussain and others. Pakistan is getting a bad press not just in the country but across the globe. Pakistan’s judicial system has zero credibility.
He not only needs best medical treatment but should be released immediately
@SHaiderRMehdi Islambad needs to be bought to its knees only thing will work look follow bangladesh sri lanka protests peaceful protest wont work didnt work before wont work know imran khan will die in prision
Aleema Khan: Today, I broke down; I feel shaken that we did not do what we were supposed to do for Imran Khan. Remember the name of Jailer Abdul Ghafoor Anjum.
Supreme Court order giving 96 hours to get Imran Khan medically examined when he has reportedly lost 85% of vision in one eye - is nothing short of a cruel joke!
In what world is near-blindness treated with a four-day waiting period? It's irreversible damage ticking by the minute.
A slap in the face of this awaam that is told to believe the system works.
@MarioNawfal@ryangrim@Kasim_Khan_1999
Absolutely criminal that the man who established state of the art charitable cancer hospitals was denied necessary medical treatment by jail authorities resulting in 85% loss of vision!
1. Former PM Imran Khan must be provided immediate expert medical attention.
2. Relevant jail officials must be held accountable immediately and given exemplary punishment.
3. Ensure compliance with Court orders re weekly meeting with lawyers and family and list pending sentence suspension applications.
A large & diverse reaction among Pakistani tweeters about the image of Imran Khan, who looks sick, weak & had sore eyes that may develop & hurt a lot..
But the most striking thing that caught my attention was the repetition of the phrase "we don't deserve you" from tweeters who are known to be loyal to PTI !!
Can this be considered an indication that frustration is beginning to sneak into souls of Imran’s followers & therefore he may get lost between various incidents & live the rest of his life in prison ?!
I hope not.
🚨 BREAKING NEWS:-
Supreme court has ordered a specialist medical exam for Imran Khan and directed his eye check up before 16 February.
It rejected a request for a family member to attend the exam but allowed phone contact with Suleman & Qasim Khan.

🚨 Imran Khan is in very poor health and has denied any transfer to house arrest.
Legal team raises alarm over his condition amid ongoing legal and political developments.
Situation remains tense. ⚖️
Barrister Salman Safdar in his report stated that:
“Imran Khan appeared visibly perturbed and deeply distressed by the loss of vision and the absence of timely and specialised medical intervention. Throughout the meeting, the Petitioner's (Imran Khan) eyes were watery, and he repeatedly used a tissue to wipe them, reflecting physical discomfort.”
Under the United Nations Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners (Mandela Rules), Rule 24–27 clearly mandate that prisoners must have access to necessary healthcare services without discrimination and equivalent to those available in the community.
As a signatory, Pakistan is obligated to ensure timely, independent, and adequate medical treatment to all detainees including former PM Imran Khan.
The denial of medical treatment has led to vision loss for Imran Khan, then full responsibility rests with the PMLN governments in Punjab and at the federal level. Custodial authorities are duty-bound to do so. Failure to do so amounts to grave medical negligence and a breach of international human rights obligations.
After reading different parts of the report submitted by Salman Safdar to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and looking at the order issued by the Chief Justice, it is clear that Imran Khan’s health concerns were not properly handled.
Imran Khan kept informing jail authorities about his medical condition, but the prison administration did not take proper or timely action, even though he is a former Prime Minister and the most popular political leader in the country. Because of this negligence, Imran Khan has almost lost the eyesight in one of his eyes.
The order given by the Supreme Court in the current situation also shows a lack of serious attention to his case. This situation is worrying and not acceptable for the people of Pakistan.
In Imran Khan’s case, the system is acting with complete carelessness and is testing the patience of the people of Pakistan.
🚨🚨#BREAKING: In a shocking revelation, Barrister Salman Safdar shared that almost 4 months ago (the time meetings of former Imran Khan banned) @ImranKhanPTI first time started problem in vision and reported this to jail authorities but no medical check was done unless sudden loss of vision from one eye. Even after the injection he has no improvement and only 15% vision from his right eye.
