Another enraging loss!
Mahmood Shahmoradi was shot and killed by pochers on Aug 6th.
He is the 2nd ranger in Golestan Province to lose his life in 2025.
Golestan lies in a biodiversity hotspot and is home to Iran’s 1st National Park.
From all of us at IWS, may he rest in peace.
