Spent the day in the sun at a pool for the first time all year. Even though I used sunscreen more than once, I got nice and toasty.

Yea Houston to LA is like 26 hours all one 1 road and El Paso is about halfway. When I went to college people not from Texas were surprised there were people from Texas who were out of state for the first time. It’s huge and you can go years without leaving the state.

I think the last time I was out of Texas was almost 4 years ago and that was just to Oklahoma for a football game.

@frogarchist I feel like Halo has been in a, “I’ll believe it when I play it” funk for awhile now. I’m really super excited for the CE remake, but I’ve been disappointed enough times with the franchise that I’m not really consuming any content from it atm.

The best way to learn to build is go to creative, find something cool looking online, and replicate it. Try do build it exactly and focus on how the original builder made the decisions to add detail. Take what you learn and then build another, slightly different one next to it.

It's the same way you learn how to draw. Learn the techniques by copying and then use those techniques to make your own thing.
