@photomatt Given some of the things I personally know WPE are guilty of doing, including siphoning off user data from heavily visited websites and injecting obfuscated tracking code into their customers plugins. Anyone backing WPE here is just mardy they chose them as their hosts, for real.

WooCommerce single product block template, Product Summary Block, strips out all HTML from short descriptions eg p tags and trims the content. Its a known bug in the way Blocks handle excerpts.
Need to add custom code to child theme functions.php #woocommerce see code in reply.

May be first case of spam bot completing Google reCAPTCHA challenge on website contact form.
Bot had sent 700+ emails from a form with the reCAPTCHA challenge working.
Had seen a post saying that AI could read the text and identify the images.

@fklux Frank re page builders - once you have built a site with a block theme - you’ll never use a page builder again.

@fklux Frank - good points. Re PHP new version compatibility- our team just spent a week updating our plugins for PHP 8.1 + compatibility- 14 of those are on https://t.co/NsHJDskOW4.
It’s a big investment to do that, but it must be done. PHP 8.3 is now out - more testing to be done.
