Three Syrian migrants, Ibrahim Al Ibrahim, Achmed Al Ali Alabd and Mohammad Al Aga Alabbas, who gang-raped an 18-year-old woman in Maastricht, the Netherlands, have asked to be released from prison, citing their young age, with one telling the court: “I came to this country to protect myself.” The court rejected their requests.

A report by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) says Qatar Charity and Eid Charity provided millions of dollars to Islamic organizations and centers in Canada, including the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), which is linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Canada's tax authority previously audited MAC over concerns including its relationship with the global Muslim Brotherhood network.
Brotherhood-aligned influence extends across Canadian institutions:

Politics: The Canadian Muslim Vote and Canadian Muslim Public Affairs Council have mobilized Muslim voters in dozens of competitive constituencies around issues including Gaza and Islamophobia.

Federal government: The Muslim Federal Employees Network, founded within the Canadian police, received advocacy from former special representative on combating Islamophobia Amira Elghawaby's office with senior government and security officials.

Civil society: The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), a major Islamic organization that operates mosques, schools and community programs, and Islamic Society of North America Canada (ISNA Canada), a Muslim religious and charitable organization, are highlighted in the report as organizations that have organizational, ideological or historical connections to broader Muslim Brotherhood-aligned networks.

The strategy used by Muslim Brotherhood-aligned networks is called “entryism,” a Trotskyist strategy of joining and working within existing institutions, gaining positions and influence, and gradually shaping politics, government, civil society and education from the inside.

With its two HQs in London and Istanbul, as well as its state sponsors in Doha, Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood has been spreading Islamism and violence over large parts of the world.

The organization is banned in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and several other countries.

Qatar has poured millions into major Canadian universities as part of a broader soft-power strategy, while Canadian campuses have become centers of intense anti-Israel activism and Islamist-linked political mobilization.

At the University of Toronto, at least 6 projects received an estimated C$2.7–C$4.2 million through the Qatar National Research Fund.

At the University of Waterloo, Qatari state-linked research funding exceeded C$ 3.8 million and total Qatari investment exceeded C$10.5 million when sponsored students are included.

Qatari university funding in the West is associated with increased antisemitism, anti-Israel activism and the presence of groups such as Students for Justice in Palestine.

The University of Waterloo ended its partnership with Israel’s Technion following sustained activist pressure while maintaining its Qatari-linked relationships.

In contrast, the fellow Gulf state, the UAE, is heavily investing in Western markets and R&D centers without trying to spread antisemitism or Islamism in Western institutions

Young Alawite Woman Who Was Kidnapped and Released Shares Testimony About General Security Militia Involvement in Her Abduction

A 25-year-old woman named “Hala Nawras Ibrahim,” from the Alawite community, gave testimony about the circumstances of her kidnapping and detention, along with her nine-month-old baby, at the hands of the #HTS-led General Security militias.

Ms. Hala Nawras Ibrahim was reportedly kidnapped on May 17, 2025, together with her son Ali Youssef Khuzami, from underneath the Hamimim Bridge near Jableh.

Hala Ibrahim: “General Security kidnapped me and my child from under the Hamimim Bridge in Jableh. They assaulted me several times before cutting my body with razor blades.”

Hala: “When they sent me back to my family, they had shaved my head and cut my body with razor blades all over, trying to force me to sign a marriage contract with a General Security member.”

Hala: “I heard other girls screaming in the place where they were holding me.”

Hala: “They told my family to delete all the posts about the kidnapping once I was sent back after my family paid a ransom.”

Salah”, who commands General Security militias in Jableh, and someone known as Hakim al-Diri, who commands General Security militias in Latakia province, as being involved in kidnapping women across Latakia province, covering for the kidnappers, and threatening victims’ families.

Multiple Arabic-language copies of Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf were found for sale at the newly opened Aafaq Bookstore on London’s Edgware Road, just minutes from the West London Synagogue, prompting condemnation from Jewish organizations as antisemitism in Britain reaches record levels.

Conservative Westminster councilor Elliot Keck discovered the books and said they were displayed on one of the shop’s main tables. The Arabic edition carries the name Aafaq Publishing & Distribution, which is linked to the bookstore’s Kuwaiti owner, Dr Naser Al Shammari.

“Qatar bought the Vice President of the European Parliament.

We know that the mosques they are funding in Europe are places where propaganda and hate preaching are present every day.

We are going to stop them,” says Dominik Tarczyński.

The infamous Qatargate scandal, which Tarczyński referred to, was the biggest corruption scandal in the European Parliament’s history.

Numerous Members of the European Parliament and their associates accepted bribes from Qatar in exchange for promoting its interests in EU politics.

Authorities seized around €1.5 million in cash hidden in suitcases, apartments, and other locations. They found €150,000 in the apartment of Eva Kaili, who was one of the Parliament’s vice-presidents at the time.

Right before a crucial vote on human rights abuses in the Middle East, Kaili received a message directly from the Qatari Ambassador to the EU and NATO, Abdulaziz Bin Ahmed Al-Malki, which read:

“My dear, my ministry doesn’t want paragraph ‘A’ about FIFA and Qatar. Please do your best to remove it via voting before 12 noon or during voting please.”в
