The Bruins keep dancing, we’re on to Spokane!

Not good. There have been questions about this team for a while now and so far no signs of changing the narrative

[Men in Blazers @MenInBlazers]

...Days after talking about becoming #1 in the world, we mustered 2 shots on goal, and played before a near empty SoFi stadium. Where are you on the panic scale between 1 (Giving Up Hope) to 10 (If we emerge from the group stage intact at WC26, all of this will be forgotten)?

[Bruin Report Online @BruinReport]

Kind of at a loss for words here. There is no silver lining in this half. UCLA just got beat from the start of the second half. Actually, it started when Tennessee ended the first half on an 8-0 run.

[Ben Bolch @calpostbbolch]

UCLA falls to Tennessee, 67-58, ending the Bruins’ season. Aday Mara claps his hands over his head as he walks off the court looking at the Bruins fans. His future is the No. 1 question of the offseason.

[Ben Bolch @calpostbbolch]

Aday Mara was noncommittal about his future but Eric Dailey Jr. said he was coming back next season.

UCLA beats Utah State, 72-47, and will play Tennessee in the second round on Saturday.

[Ben Bolch @calpostbbolch]

Lazar Stefanovic, asked if this was a statement: "I mean, if people didn’t know what we can do, that’s on them. We played a lot of good teams, we’ve won a lot of big games this year already and we’ll just keep moving. We don’t really look too much on what other people say outside

[Ben Bolch @calpostbbolch]

UCLA-Tennessee is the final game played Saturday, starting at 9:40 p.m. EDT in Lexington on TBS/TruTV.

[Ben Bolch @calpostbbolch]

UCLA is now 10-0 when Aday Mara plays at least 15 minutes.

"It's an embarrassment."

Immediate postgame reactions from @clint_dempsey

The USMNT have now lost to Panama three straight times in a major tournament.

The 2026 World Cup starts in 448 days.

[USMNT Only @usmntonly]

Earlier this week, Mauricio Pochettino said the USMNT has the potential to 'dominate soccer' and could be 'number 1 in the world' within the next 10 to 15 years.

We just lost to Panama in Nations League. 🙃

Historically, Democrats have not been in favor of shutdowns. Hence my political guts tell me a deal will be reached before the deadline. Now, the scenario where the Senate passes something but POTUS rejects it is highly unlikely but there is a non-zero chance that may happen!

Our next challenge awaits

We will face Club Tigres in the Quarterfinals of @TheChampions.

It’s a rough time. They just don’t have the pieces in place.

Not sure that will be enough. Intuition says that the rest of the country will just tune out California politicians no matter what they say?

1/ Gavin Newsom did something very interesting today: He broke with his party on transgender girls playing girls' sports.

Why? Because he wants to run for president -- obviously.

But why does he think this will help?

A few thoughts:
