@RohanCreates well I'm definitely looking forward to your training because it seems to answer a lot of the questions I just couldn't figure out on my own
@RohanCreates I love it! it looks very smooth. My method was intended for finding ways of simulating overdrawn lines, secondary offset lines, basically anything to make it look like a rough sketch. In the end was just too heavy to do anything with. Are your lines curves or just color data?
@RohanCreates My (heavy) solution used VDB to cull points that weren't on the facing angle of the camera, and then create curves out of those points. then i could do "thickness along curve" or copy sprites to the planes, etc. Would love to figure out a way to optimize!
@RohanCreates@aeioweyou The ink is actually a bunch bitmaps on planes copied to points on the curve! The watercolor is just a texture map, blending between a frontal and UV projection
