Hustle culture is quietly destroying tech talent and nobody wants to say it.
We glorified the 18 hour days.
We celebrated skipping sleep.
We made burnout sound like a badge of honour.
And now we wonder why the best developers are quitting.
I have been there. Grinding non stop, convincing myself that rest was for the weak and that the more I suttered the more successful I would become.
Do you know what I got from it?
Burnout. Bad code. Poor decisions. And a version of myself I did not even recognise.
Here is what nobody tells you.
Your best ideas do not come at 2am after 12 hours of staring at a screen. They come when your mind is rested, clear and free.
The most productive developers I know work smart, protect their energy and know when to log off.
Working yourself to the ground is not ambition. It is self destruction with a Linkedin aesthetic.
Rest is not laziness. Rest is strategy.

It is crazy how challenging it can get to secure an executive position in a top firm when you are single.

You prepare.
You build experience.
You sharpen your skills.
You position yourself strategically.

You walk into the room confident.

You leave the room qualified.
