Apologies for saying earlier that digital-only would stop scalping. I didn't anticipate the depth of stupidity some people would bring to the internet. I will try to be more mindful in future.

@inkfycreates This whole “hating on poor ppl” is just deflection when it basically boiled down to gatekeeping every rando out there trying to insert themselves into the fandom and talking mad shit to ppl who actually engaged with the media in meaningful ways.
All hobbies are privilege. It's not classist to say this. Not every hobby can be extremely accessible without any drawbacks. You can absolutely get into gaming but you will need to compromise. You can't get a $900USD console? You won't play AAA games. It is what it is.
@RamblingsNerd2@BBally81 There is profit to be made in constant negativity and getting ppl angry, so folk just need to wise the hell up. But that’s asking alot for rando on the internet.
Do not fall for this. Drink gay fruity drinks. Buy weird Cheetos flavors.

Your great grandfather worked the coal mine so you could watch anime and wear crocs
This is actually one of Zack’s core character flaws, and it’s ultimately what leads to his downfall. Just like how Aerith’s death is deeply tied to her greatest strength, her selflessness, which also becomes her greatest flaw because she’s willing to sacrifice herself for others, Zack’s flaw is his need to be the impossible man. He constantly takes responsibility for everyone around him and believes that if he just tries hard enough, he can save everyone. It’s an incredibly admirable trait, but it also means he rarely accepts his own limitations and repeatedly takes on burdens no one person could realistically carry. Zack can’t stand the idea of leaving someone behind or failing to protect the people he cares about, so he keeps pushing forward no matter the odds. That’s what makes his story so tragic I think (and why some people see him as cookie cutter). His downfall doesn’t come from selfishness or a lack of courage, but from one of his most heroic qualities being taken to its absolute extreme. In the same way Aerith’s compassion and self sacrificing nature ultimately leads her to give everything for others, Zack’s unwavering desire to save everyone eventually costs him everything too
