Kayode Myrtle

A wannabe developer, needs a lot of help and still building myself
An introverted weeb, an avid gamer, a mid level poet and a lover of books

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

@MartinsOjaks Magically generate another phone to scan it na, I can't be teaching you all these little things😂

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

@MartinsOjaks Don't we all...

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

We need to curb our greed as Africans, only then will we unite.

[Martins Ojakominor @MartinsOjaks]

And just like that, an entire generation of young people from different countries now hate themselves for a problem that was caused by their terrible governments and they don't even realise it yet. Africans need to unite.

Until you jam a bug that your brain shuts down right?
AI is a tool, use it like you use VScode, nobody tells you to write code in notepad like a real dev.

[makavelí 𓃵 @makaveli_YM7]

delete claude and use your brain like a f*cking dev

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

Yes, take a deep breath😩🤧
#Debugging

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

Debugging is the most underrated skill in programming.
20% of the time spent is to write the code and the other 80% is to ensure the code works.

@redbullbaby05 And who makes insane moves that could kill both him and his opponent? A man with balls made out of Vibranium.
I argue he's a better overtaker, precision and risk combined

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

As a formula one Fan, I don't understand the hate @Charles_Leclerc gets, it's totally undeserved for a top 3 driver on track. I know someone like @naijamaneater will disagree
#F1

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

Hence we added 2 more things, instead of lodges only, why not everything? U could add a product or service.
This way the gap between the market and consumers shrinks to a minimal level u can directly compare prices between items and services
But what do you guys think
#Futminna

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

And through the available location, students can go to the site and inspect the lodge before commiting and once the deal has gone through they leave a rating, further boosting the reputation of the agent thereby a win win situation
But if that's all itll be pretty lame and boring

So we came up with a simple but effective solution, a technical solution to a non technical problem.
We built a web app that agents can list lodges and location, and ofcourse we verify the agent's identity, Incase of any shady case.

But enough about my vision, lets talk about the product.
Hearing the cries of my fellow students at FUT minna, a great school btw, too much fraudulent activities in the agent world, students getting scammed all because of the innocent desire to find a good place to stay

But as always, building is just the easy part, and the most dreadful part is Marketing.
But, I will not be working alone. The plan is to look for people that do marketing better, and propose a partnership, wouldn't that be cool?
That's about it, I hope I'm welcome..

But while I've been off here, I haven't been off life.
Let's see, the last time I was here, I was a frontend developer, but I've learnt express and nest and became a full stack developer, and my first big time project is launching soon!
Now isn't that exciting?

Dear X,
It's been a while... It's been actually some time, mostly because I didn't find what I was looking for here, or maybe because I'm not a fan of networking, I'm a me guy.
But now I need it's help, spreading information, which is what it does best.

Day 21 of #Consistency
Frontend is harder than backend, if you disagree, let's hear your reason.
And I'm back with more designs, or just one of them, we go harder tomorrow

Day 20 of #Consistency
From today till Tuesday I'll be taking a short break due to a certain task that's on my desk.
#Reactjs #frontenddev #buildinpublic

[Kayode Myrtle @aMidnightPoet]

Day 19 of #ConsistencyToday is more of a mild work day, just speeding through the designs cause they're merely cosmetics, no functionalities, also take a moment to admire my wallpaper
#buildinpublic #reactjs #frontenddev

Day 18 of #Consistency
Nothing to say except, for newbies, design the smaller screen first, for veterans please drop an advice or 2, or a bunch of them.
