He came up big when needed but he was never our best player performance wise overall through a tourny.

At this point McDavid is a far better asset to Canada than Sid, and that is not a shot at Sid.

Great goalies lose against better teams all the time. See the Stanley Cup finals for reference.

I think with McDavid, Mackinnon, Makar and company scoring would be no issue no matter the goalie.
