@Kidfears99 While in the hospital this week with DKA, I had a realization just how bad my relationship with food has been getting. Like damn, I just hate that I have to eat?
I’ve been through DKA before but recovering from DKA while still recovering from the flu is a different beast. First day home from the hospital and I am too fatigued to chew.
Ever come back from DKA and feel like you need to change jobs immediately or just me?
Aside: hospitals with Diet Pepsi should be embarrassed. #DietCokeOrGTFO
Me: “Those claims are unsubstantiated.”
Them: “There are videos.”
Me: “Oh okay, show me then.”
Them: “I haven’t actually seen any videos but the claims are still definitely true.”
This is why I fucking can’t with half this country rn.
I literally cannot comprehend that both of my parents joined the Navy ON PURPOSE because nothing sounds worse to me than being trapped on a boat in the middle of the goddamn ocean.
Y’all stop demanding your kids’ teachers do extra unpaid labor for you to have a cute moment like writing letters in a copy of a shitty Dr. Suess book. I promise you no 18 year old is super excited about notes from teachers they didn’t like or don’t remember.
I just picked up my insulin (5 Humalog pens) and had a $0 copay on insulin for the first time in my 6 years of #T1D.
Explain to me how I have to pay $35 every two weeks for my long acting insulin still though?
@shatterdvisage@mattyglesias@Tyler_The_Wise To be full time, they theoretically should be IN CLASS at least 12 hours a week. So it would have to be that students are just not going…
My most controversial opinion is that the fundamental principle underlying a “great books education” is a fantastic approach to discussion-based coursework. Having a common foundation/set of references makes for interesting discussions. Don’t @ me about what makes books great.
