When Elon replied “Yes” to a post citing stats on interracial homicides, specifically the 14,689 Black-on-White vs. 6,148 White-on-Black attacks, he didn’t offer a dissertation.

He didn’t need to.

That one-word response set off a firestorm because it hit a nerve the media desperately wants to avoid: they pick which crimes matter based on politics, not justice.

Let’s be clear. Elon wasn’t saying one race is better, he’s saying the media treats one narrative like a national emergency, and the other like it doesn’t exist.

We see it constantly.

A crime fits the “oppression” script? It's front-page news.

A brutal attack breaks the mold? Suddenly, it’s complex, isolated, or simply buried.

This double standard has consequences.

Victims are erased. Offenders are excused. And worst of all, real solutions get shut down before they can be discussed, because acknowledging inconvenient patterns might offend someone.

We need the courage to say:

Domestic abuse, gang killings, carjackings, and random street assaults don’t care about your politics. They care that you’re unarmed, unaware, and unsupported by a media establishment more interested in race-baiting than reporting.

This isn’t just about stats. It’s about truth, and the cost of silencing it.

If we can’t talk honestly about who’s committing violence and why, without fear of cancellation, we’re not just failing. We’re guaranteeing more crime, more victims, and more broken communities.

We don’t need more outrage.

We need courage to call it out, to confront it, and to fix it.

Because the truth is? Selective silence isn’t justice, it’s complicity.
