This story came to me from Philip Hartwell in California. He wanted me to know about a man in his neighborhood who waves to people/kids every school morning. Philip wrote: “I only know his name is Dick and I would love to have him recognized for his endless warmth and kindness as he sends the children off to school every day. Not sure how the children feel but I am sure all of the parents must appreciate his goodwill ever bit as much as I do.“
We went to California and found a story with heart, candor, and depth. Indeed, this is a relatable story for all of us.
@kelsieswrites My prayers to you and your kids. Allowing us a window into your world has been an inspiration, and you all have shown us true bravery and courage. You have given a gift to the world. Peace and love…
Just finished Wright Thompson's latest profile. I promise you it'll be the best thing you'll read maybe all year. Great writers help you meet a person; Mr. Thompson takes you deep inside that person's soul. Beautifully written. #ESPN https://t.co/tR4nhhrCLh
Toropchenko: "Even if we are not in a playoff spot, I will do everything because it's a hockey game. This is NHL. You are not playing in a beer league or something. You need to show something, you need to show character and be strong everywhere, play from your heart." #stlblues
