20 mins into a blackout here in Echo Park, the longest I can remember experiencing since Aug. ‘03. These are so rare! My every search for “blackout” finds it referring to something other than a power outage.
@robinhanson My jokester friend follows that statement with “just kidding!” 5% of the time. Hearing the argument makes it much less likely to all be a joke, so I should expect to update my beliefs conditional on that argument actually happening, right?
