This is a horrible and heinous attack on innocent children which cannot be condemned enough. May God grant their families the sabr to cope with this unimaginable loss.

This is also a huge intelligence failure in an area under complete military control, which raises the questions: why and how did this happen? Did our intelligence agencies have any threat alert re this? If not, why not? And if so, what steps were taken to counter this threat that clearly failed (if any steps in this regard were taken to begin with)?

Also isn’t this immediate attribution of blame on one’s neighbour exactly what the entire Pakistani nation was condemning post-Pahalgam?

And wasn’t it because India was unable to furnish proof of Pak’s involvement that the int’l community did not support India in the way it had anticipated?

How is this allegation any different from what India alleged?

And if indeed we had any prior evidence of Indian involvement in any anticipated attack, this would be an even bigger intelligence failure - accountability must be fixed on those who are answerable to us (at least on paper).
