Optimistically thinking of how I can live on literature, film, and anime while going wherever life takes me.

@regularaugust It’s gotta be a late April Fools joke, right? Right!?

"Movies touch our hearts, awaken our vision, and change the way we see things. They take us to other places. They open doors and minds. Movies are the memories of our lifetime. We need to keep them alive."

Happy Birthday, Martin Scorsese! 80 today.

Been in a documentary kind of mood for some reason. Rewatched “Crumb” last week and “The Atomic Cafe” yesterday. Might rewatch “Dont Look Back” or “Salesman” next🤔

[bored_and_bookish @a_bookishboy]

@JustScreenshot3 I still need to see the Zatoichi films

[bored_and_bookish @a_bookishboy]

@8thYakumo Best wishes! I hope it all goes well

I find YouTube's handling of my content to be disgusting and irresponsible.
Their way of handing nudity and sexual content in general is appalling. How is it that THIS video is considered a violation of nudity and sexual community guidelines?

Other nurse: it’s true, and she still skates. I blame you for when she got hurt and I was short staffed for a week.
Me: my sincere apologies. Don’t do a kickflip.

In waiting room of my wife’s neurologist (because migraines)
Nurse: you look familiar
Me: that’s cool
Nurse: your voice is familiar too. Is it bad if I ask you to lower your mask?
Me: I guess not since you’re the nurse
Nurse: you’re Tony Hawk! I got into skating from playing THPS

Masayuki Suō’s only dalliance in pinku eiga—a perverted pastiche of Yasujirō Ozu’s domestic dramas.
