It’s not your internet thats down! @Cloudflare’s DNS service 1.1.1.1 is currently down. If you manually configured your DNS to use Cloudflare only, you can switch your DNS to Google, 8.8.8.8, or other popular DNS services such as Quad9 or OpenDNS
Agree and disagree. You need a mix. The former sysadmins bring incredible light to the table of everyday tasks and threats, and ways to stay secure while still being operationally focused. However, there is still a need for people who think outside of the sysadmin fox for cyber
Jumping back to my @facebook scam complaints, we had terrible flooding in my area over the weekend where numerous people were tragically killed. One of the relatives made a Facebook post in memory of them and now scammers are in there trying to phish information out of people. Facebook’s response? “This doesn’t go against community standards”. Absolute bull. Get it together and quit allowing scammers to phish information from people. @troyhunt you have any advice?
Very disappointed with @facebook. There was a post in a group I’m a part of that was a clear phishing campaign pretending to be @USPS hiring workers. There was a link to a Google site asking for interested persons to apply there. I reported it as a scam not once, but twice! (1/2)
