@thorpesi@matthewclifford Necessity may well be the main driver of change. When will that be though? It looks like we can all keep pretending things are fine for a fair few years yet - and then a cliff edge event. - ie slowly slowly the suddenly.
@FraserNelson I doubt Labour MPs will move after the byelection. If there’s a move on Starmer, at present, the most likely is after the May elections and even then far from certain. There’s not a determined, organised block yet and doesn’t currently look likely even if don’t they like Kier.
@SkySportsRL Probably the right decisions for once. But still really need a London side. Huge potential all round if one eventually makes it in the right way. Think the Aussies will help make it so.
@afneil I suspect those figures aren’t that different from much of Western Europe. It’s notable that US GDP per capita has zoomed ahead between 2009 ($47,000) to 2024 ($85/86,000). In that time UK went from $37,000- $52,000).
@SkySportsRL Rugby League is a great game run by not so great people who continue to damage it. It’s slowly disappearing from public consciousness as a result. The future of the sport does not currently look good and it’s a great shame.
