Hi @SW_Help your guard on the 1705 WAT-POO has been told that the next train (1856 SOU-POO) will be running the stopper. The system says every stopping service (TTN/ANF/BCU/SWY/etc) is cancelled until 2025. Who is right please? Are you adding BCU to any of the fast services?

@SW_Help Thanks - I'd forgotten the 1705 is ahead of the XC. Why is BCU Tue only station left out of the stops added to the 1735?

@SW_Help The 1705 WAT-POO is running but you have dropped the split and therefore stopping service. When is the next service that will stop in the forest - say, BCU. Because 2025 is a long way away....

@SW_Help Things sound like they are getting worse again in WAT @SW_Help. Can you reconsider adding intermediate stops into the service that is travelling this line please? Or authorising taxis given the disruption.

Hi @SW_Help. What’s the plan for the 1805 WAT-WEY&POO? Nothing on Journeycheck about changes to this service. But there’s only 5 carriages so you’re not going to split this one.

@SW_Help That’s fine then. The stopper is scheduled at BMH only +21min behind the fast. Also, there is *supposed* to be a train making that journey - it is only your lack of carriages that is the problem. This is a choice, not a necessity: cancel the fast and reinstate the stopper.

@SW_Help How can it affect the train pathway if every other service is cancelled? If you are cancelling 4 trains in a row are you authorising taxis from Southampton? And why was this change of stock not listed on Journeycheck?

@SW_Help BCU. But given the 1835, 1905, and 1935 are all cancelled through the Forest presumably you will be adding some stops for all those passengers on this service who need the stopper and dont want to wait 2 hours for the 2005.

@SW_Help As it usually is. The decision was made before this train left WAT. Passengers boarded this standing-room only service which was advertised as stopping at stations to POO. In reality, they would always have to wait for the delayed 1805. @swtrains_watch

Evening @sw_help. Tough day I know, but can you provide an update on the 1735 WAT-POO that is formed from the WEY service and you knew was short-formed an hour ago. If you have another 5 carriages waiting at SOU, presumably that will wait for the train it should be attached to.

@SW_Help Thanks - so to confirm, even though the 1856 SOU-POO is coming from the depot, it will wait for the train it is supposed to be attached to, rather than running (on time but empty!) to POO. You'll appreciate I'm sceptical, as this is not often what happens when you try this.

@SW_Help That can't be right. The 1735 won't get to SOU until at least 1910 given late departure.

@SW_Help @swtrains_watch And in respect of thanks excellent service, please pass on thanks to the relief guard on 1930 BSK-SOU. He identified the risk of his service (which was entirely passengers displaced from a WEY service) being overtaken by the WEY service behind and informed everyone accordingly

I was all ready to commend @SW_Help for adding SOU to other WAT services, in lieu of any WEY trains. But having told us to get on the 1820 WAT-BSK it now shows as cancelled in the timetable. Is this really still going to SOU because the guard thinks it is?

@SW_Help @swtrains_watch And sorry that I can’t do justice in limited characters to the hard work that I know goes on by individuals in @SW_Help. I have huge sympathy for the challenges when things go wrong (not least for any victims of injury), and my ire is against the system, not individuals.
