Ghanaian witch doctor Nana Kwaku Bonsam, who claimed Harry Kane would have a goalless night, says he has ‘released’ him now after England drew with Ghana.
🗣️“I am now going to release Harry Kane so that he can score in the next match for England 🏴” - Nana Kwaku Bonsam
I cannot stop laughing. Wow. I’m in tears honestly.
The new Supreme Leader couldn’t “make an appearance” so apparently the Regime brought out a cardboard cut-out.
Honestly, these people 😂
🚨🇨🇳 BREAKING: CHINA ISSUES A STARK WARNING TO THE UNITED STATES 🇺🇸
“If you want war, war will come. If you seek to destroy China, you will be destroyed.”
Beijing says it will not fire the first shot, but it will not allow a second shot to be fired against it.
Next year's College Football Playoff field will look different due to an agreement signed in 2024, assigning each Power 4 champion a berth into the postseason field, plus the highest ranked non-power league conference champion.
If these new rules were used this year, Duke would have advanced into the field as the ACC champ, bumping out JMU, plus Notre Dame would replace Miami due to having a Top-12 guarantee.
The take of not going back to preHeupel days is such a bad take. We are unranked in year 5. We beat 0 bowl eligible teams increased the cost of tickets and added a talent fee all while losing 3 games at home. Not saying fire him but the seat should be hot.
@JakeAndBall Gruden sits alone on that list at this point
Better not fuck up Heupel or it could be back to fighting for a bowl game
I feel like most fans can’t remember 2010-2021
I’m not trying to do that again
8-4 with a bottom 10 defense in the power 4
And a qb who got there June
Your QB out performed expectations. You started pretty much a brand new wide receiver core and succeeded tremendously. Then to put on a defensive performance all year like you did.. changes in the staff had to be made.
Plus you charge a 10% talent fee to lose 3 at home. The environment of Neyland has been declining and doesn’t feel like that big environment anymore. Questionable time management all year, questionable play calling. Heup has to give it up and manage a team not a game.
Just an honest assessment....
This year, we won 8 games. We lost every game against teams with a better than .500 record. We didn't win a single game against them.
In year 5.... we didn't beat a single team better than .500....
With THAT offense.....
I dunno where we go from here.🤷♂️
As a fan and former student. Neyland doesn’t feel like Neyland anymore. 2022 was the last in person game I’ve went to that felt generally loud. (Didn’t get to be at Georgia the following year) but even on tv last night it sounded so quite compared to what it has been.
Danny Dollars has created an environment at Neyland that has changed it for the die hard true grit Vols fans. While Neyland is the most special place in the world to me, it broke my heart a little.
Ticket prices, insane. Use to be about families, dreams. It means more. And when you see the production of what those ticket prices are going to, and it doesn’t fit, not good.
The new Vol walk barricades took an hour to get around. And when did that shit happen?
It was definitely “different” and you can truly feel it throughout the whole experience. I love being at Neyland, I love how it feels like home, but it’s the people who have created that.
I don’t mind the play call, he was unaccounted for because of who he was. The play call worked because he was wide open. You are a D1 athlete that has to make that play. The more questionable call is forcing a fumble then running the ball three straight plays and punting it back
So....
To recap.
Instead of running one of your 3 stud RBs....
Or....
Throwing to your 3 stud WRs....
You choose to throw to a freshman TE who is here to be a blocker.
For 1 yard....
With the game, playoffs, and season on the line?
That's.... something.
I do not condone his actions. D Samp and that defense got us last year, but first year starter, with first year mistakes. He made the Yoffs give the man credit where credit is due for him. He was a game manager which was not what we expected of him (in the clutch no)
Ok. I'm gonna end up on some "message board genius" shit for this take, BUT....
In the NIL era, is it not safe to say that HS 5 star elites are far more risky to throw money at than a 3 or 4 star that has developed at a lower school?
Seems almost every elite gets overpaid, under preforms, and then demands more or transfers.
To me, take the $4M a year and get 5 or 6 quality upper classmen to build a TEAM.
