Friendly reminder that 100% of the people admitted to the ICU for Covid19 in Alberta yesterday were unvaccinated. Also a friendly reminder that 110% is not a real number, so it's actually impossible for it to become any more obvious at this point.
So let me get this straight, I did everything asked of me, didn’t see family for 18 months, kept my cohort small, waved at loved ones through a screen, got vaccinated to protect myself and others, did all the right things, and the people who send me hate mail get $100?
Just received notice that AHS will be using the emergency provisions of the collective agreements, at ICUs, Emergs and other units including redeployments, mandating overtime and cancelling vacations. Best Summer Ever. Thank you UCP. Thank you Dr. Hinshaw.
I cried watching YOU. I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you.
As I sit in the hospital cafeteria at a table alone, because those are the rules, my rage is replaced with a clear understanding of why the pandemic has been handled so poorly by our government. It has never effected them. There is no skin on the game. https://t.co/ZvbUyL5A9u
Today @DShepYEG and I sent this letter to @AdrianaLaGrange and told her to stop ignoring the concerns of an Albertan who doesn’t want her grandmother’s name used without consent to promote the UCP’s awful draft curriculum. #abed#ableg
Imagine being the Minister of Eduction and claiming that 99% of students had no disruption to learning because they didn’t currently have active Covid-19.
I mean, someone might think you have no idea what learning or disruption meant. #ableg#abed
So, basically, we kept schools open until they literally ran out of teachers in Calgary, McMurray, and Edmonton? And they ran out of teachers because our "just the right amount of COVID infection and hospitalization" plan has gone to hell? But it's someone else's fault? #ableg
