@makon___@cmar@wesbos Had to open Photo Booth so codex could see the frame and stop bugging me to send it pics of the screen. Eventually it was able to get its own screenshots. Only thing I really had to do physically was insert a micro sd card into my computer and then the frame
@makon___@cmar@wesbos Also the instructions in Wes’ video and article weren’t really applicable to this frame, but they were a good starting point. Ended up just telling codex to research and try every possible exploit until it could figure it out
@makon___@cmar@wesbos I got this exact frame and spent a good half hour trying different cable and adapter combos until I found one that worked. The included cable is power-only. ended up using a different USB-C to USB-A cable, plus an A to C adapter to plug into my MacBook. C to C cables didn’t work
@wesbos I made a little dashboard for my girlfriend, who is a fine art photographer and teacher, to keep on her desk to help find jobs, grants, and exhibition opportunities. Also has to-do list, her calendar and our shared calendar. Dashboard is ChatGPT sites and frame is the display
@ayeidk@ishuagra02@thsottiaux Bro do you even know how to read? The key word is "most" - he said it doesn't benefit most Codex users, and he is right. Most Codex users don't even have access to dots. Can't tell if you are trolling or if you're just a stupid person.
@ayeidk@ishuagra02@thsottiaux Read his post again. His assertion was that it doesn't benefit most Codex users. He is right.
This only benefits Pro users who want to create a new dot. That is not most Codex users.
@ayeidk@ishuagra02@thsottiaux How so? We are only limited to one dot, and we've all created ours already. Until we can have several dots per account, I'd say this isn't terribly useful for most of us.
