I just found out Ibadan okadas operate like buses.
You’re on a bike, then the rider picks up another passenger because you’re both going the same way.
Hello?! 😭
I can't believe my eyes, people are still this foolish???😅💔
I was walking and this man in Benz stopped and told me he can give me 500k if I do something for him, I actually thought he was playing, he said he likes my hair, if I cut small for him he will send me 500k, we had to go back home which he carried me there, I took scissors and cut small quantity for this man, he legit sent me 500k, some rich people are foolish o 😭😂💔
I can’t stay over at someone’s house for 3 days and not do anything sha. Chores and/or financial contributions. I won’t be comfortable, no matter how close we are.

Companies don’t ask for NYSC certificates just for vibes. It’s actually backed by law.
Under the NYSC Act, employers are expected to request the NYSC certificate (or exemption) before hiring graduates.
No NYSC = limited access to formal employment in Nigeria.
It’s not wickedness, it’s compliance.
Many organizations (especially corporates, banks, oil & gas, fintech) won’t process employment without it to stay compliant.
Your dressing is off and you should do better. There are rules guiding corporate outfits for the male gender.
Rule 1. Shoe and belt color rules
- Next time, when you wear a brown shoe, make sure the color of your shoe matches with the color of your belt.
- If your shoe is shiny, the belt should be too. If you are wearing a suede shoe, the belt should be a suede belt too.
Rule 2: Shirts and pants combination rules
- You should note that a contrast between your shirt and pants is needed. A light shirt with dark trousers is preferable.
- Again, if you are wearing a patterned shirt, pair it with solid pants (non-patterned) and vice versa.
- Your trouser is too long, it is meant to sit at the right point on the waist, with a slight "break" (where the pant meets the shoe) and no excessive length.
Rule 3: Tie Rule.
- The tip of your tie should reach the top of your belt buckle. No longer, not lower. You look like a primary school kid with that.
- If you are wearing a solid tie, you should pair it with a patterned shirt and vice versa
- Your tie should always be a darker shade of your shirt so that it stands out.
You are welcome, Talented.🫰
Stop dating people like you want to marry them if you won't.
Don't lead them on till it is too late.
If you know you are not serious, let them know from inception so you can both plan your situationship or shegetionship well.
The hardest part of HR is what happens In-Between.
It’s the part of the job that no certification can fully prepare you for. It’s the moments that don’t fit into an Excel sheet and cannot be documented in an HR software.
• It’s sitting in a quiet office with an employee who just lost a parent, knowing that "3 days of bereavement leave" isn't nearly enough to process that kind of loss.
• It’s mediating between two great employees who suddenly can’t stand each other anymore, knowing that the conflict isn’t about work but about ego and months of unspoken tension.
• It’s looking at a high-performing staff member who clearly needs a break but there’s no policy that justifies taking a few months off beyond their allocated leave and while unpaid leave is an option, they can’t take it because they still need the income.
• It’s navigating the tension when a team is falling apart, not because of a lack of skill, but because of a lack of trust.
• It’s trying to protect company standards without losing your empathy for the human being in front of you.
• It’s the late-evening conversations where an employee confides in you about something personal, and you’re quietly balancing confidentiality, policy, and humanity at the same time.
Among many other situations that people don’t see.
In 2026, we have AI that can screen resumes and softwares that can automate payroll. But you cannot automate empathy. You cannot outsource the discernment required to know when to stick to the rules and when to lead with your heart.
Let’s talk about the human side of HR. What are some "in-between" moments you’ve experienced in your career?
