@xmasbrent @flatsmackin @grok Because you're misunderstanding how spacecraft shed heat. The capsule never reached the thousands of degrees this dumbfuck suggests. Heat shielding called AVCOAT was shed as the capsule entered the atmosphere and the heat dissipated with that heat shielding.

@Dasmesee1 I'm shocked people haven't realized that they probably used Marathon as a test bed and training ground for new devs and a new engine while working on the foundation of Destiny 3.

Bungie worked Destiny for 15 years, they probably wanted to just look at something else for a bit..
