@Dig_Balls@Alexbig47 They would probably rationalize it with the following question "Would these people show up 4-7 years from now for the launch of Destiny 3? And if so, would that be a better use of the 500m+ usd capital investment it would require to launch a Destiny level live service?"
@TheTricksterVT This is a total misrepresentation. This would be like saying if you bought a video game the developers owed you the source code. When you buy a rig or model you get the finished product to use, not a license that can be rescinded at a later date. You own it.
@buppi If a client orders a piece for commercial purposes I will omit a signature as that's part of a commercial use fee, but if they are asking for a general commission you're damn right I'm signing it.
@saladplate1@Aztecross Bro is out here with his thesaurus in one hand and his dick in the other trying to act tough but cant even spell his own insult properly, isn't that right you lobotomite?
He said hed bury marathon himself and piss on its corpse, what message do you think that gives his audience?
@_Maklamz@Daniel_Darc1@ForzaHorizon They already have a system in game that detects if you hit a wall, or when a likely collision is about to happen, so yes they have the tools in the game already for a collision detection and penalty system.
@Muffin_Bandit_ Cross could've come out and organized a bunch of destiny community events to get people logging into the game when player counts were low, or even now when people are coming back.
Instead he'd rather farm drama views and rile up his audience against the company he wants to save
@metstud@dillonatm okay dude so spell it out for us then, how would driving his audience to "kill marathon" and "piss on its corpse" make Destiny 3 happen?
How would that have any effect other than MORE layoffs to these artists and devs that y'all supposedly care so much about and want to make D3.
@xaiooiax14_@dillonatm Him "Burying" marathon and "pissing on its corpse", weaponizing his audience against it, won't get him or anyone a Destiny 3. This is the most unhelpful toxic shit imaginable. Dude's got 1m followers and uses his platform to stir up drama instead of doing anything productive.
@HJumper223@Dusty23XI@Aztecross he says "Marathon, If I have to bury you myself to send that message I will. I will do everything I can to destroy you, piss on your corpse, and light you on fire" When you have 1m+ followers thats not voting with your wallet, that's spreading some serious hate and is unnecessary
@Mythoclast_X How entitled do people like Cross have to be to say "fuck what you want, fuck if I care if you want to make more destiny or not I'll ruin your passion project and piss on its grave, ruin every game you make until you make the game I want to play." What a piece of shit.
@sunniettv@Nash29768407 It's a "Braindead" set where you bring farig MBlastoise in the front, sinistcha and kingambit in the back, fakeout + trick room turn 1, rain dance water spout turn 2, then just coast off that lead or lose on the spot.
@hirenmp4@flatsmackin hold a candle and light the wick, does your hand burn? No. Candle burns, hand does not. Hand a bit warm, but not hurt.
Heat shield burns. Capsule does not. Capsule drifts through sub-zero degree atmosphere. Capsule then lands in cold ass water. Capsule a bit warm, but not hurt.
@xmasbrent@flatsmackin@grok Because you're misunderstanding how spacecraft shed heat. The capsule never reached the thousands of degrees this dumbfuck suggests. Heat shielding called AVCOAT was shed as the capsule entered the atmosphere and the heat dissipated with that heat shielding.
@MarathonArchive I mean correct me if I'm seeing this wrong but that looks like someone was just afk on spawn... Yeah thermal longshot is OP and there are some dire marsh spawns that are a bit ??? but this instance seems to just be someone bein lazy.
@Dasmesee1 I'm shocked people haven't realized that they probably used Marathon as a test bed and training ground for new devs and a new engine while working on the foundation of Destiny 3.
Bungie worked Destiny for 15 years, they probably wanted to just look at something else for a bit..
