Following the $Z Token announcement, our community has actively shared views on the proposed airdrop allocations.

From day one, we've consistently listened to our community, as it's the only way to build a great product that is genuinely loved.

This feedback helps us continue to shape Zeta into a world class DEX with a passionate trading community. Addressing the main points raised, we’ve refined the $Z token airdrop to better align the interests of the community:

INITIAL AIRDROP vs. AIRDROP FOR STAKERS

10% of the $Z token supply will be distributed via airdrop.

The initial airdrop has been increased to 8% of the supply (up from 6%) and it’s exclusively reserved for our traders:
- 7% will be allocated to traders based on Z-Score (up from 5%); no market makers included in this distribution.
- 1% will be allocated to traders who are also members of strategic Solana communities based on Z-Score. More details on this distribution will be shared shortly.

This means that no one is receiving $Z without active trading on Zeta.

- Following the token launch, 2% of the supply (down from 4%) will be reserved for stakers of $Z as reward for their long-term commitment to the protocol. This portion will be distributed in the form of staked $Z 28 days (i.e., one epoch) after TGE, and are in addition to staking rewards which come from the 30% community portion. The intention here is to further reward traders who stake their initial airdrop.

OGs & SEASON 1 TRADERS

Our earliest supporters have been critical to the success of Zeta and will be rewarded accordingly: OGs (pre-Season 1) & Season 1 traders will receive loyalty boosts, with OGs enjoying the larger boost.

The official date for TGE is still in the works.

Although we've had to make slight adjustments to the timeline, significant progress is being made behind the scenes to ensure a successful launch. This is a large, consolidated effort involving token engineering, security, exchange listings and token liquidity to make the $Z launch a success. We truly appreciate your patience and support, and we're fully committed to making it happen as soon as possible.

NEXT STEPS

- On Tue, Apr 30th, at 12:00 UTC we will be hosting an AMA with two of our founders @Tristan0x @PDAnimol on our Discord. We’ll delve into every detail and answer any questions that come up.
- The $Z Whitepaper will be updated with full details about the airdrop, loyalty boost mechanism and staking.

$Z has been designed to empower our community, allowing everyone to actively shape the future of Zeta as we strive to deliver the ultimate perps trading experience, only possible on Solana.

As we progress towards the token launch, we'll continue to listen closely to our community and share regular updates through our official channels, ensuring open dialogue and transparency.
