@fried_egg_golf Letโs not make the best players in the world adjust the way the play to improve - just find equipment to make their methods work. Not a perfect comp, but if someone kept missing baskets long, you wouldnโt consider raising the hoopโฆ
@TrevorImmelman@AaronSchiro Not to mention the cost of changing/maintaining the courses this much is ultimately paid by the regular customers and not the Tour - it just makes golf more expensive and less fun for the recreational golfers.
@AndyTFE Took my 7YO to this for his first golf tournament and he was hooked! Couldnโt think of a better way for a kid to spectate a golf event. Unfortunately itโs all downhill from hereโฆ
@WillC_45@fried_egg_golf Agreed. Unfair how the water is at the bottom of the slope, especially considering the fairway cut all the way to the short side of the creek - no way to layup since it will roll off the near side slope.
@MidwestGolfJake I totally understand this take but would contend that perhaps TW needed to change swing, not to improve or protect his body from injury (I think they would have happened anyway), but because he needed a new psychological mountain to climb - a new goal to chase and master.
@Daib212@ForePlayPod Agreed. Hitting from a divot is a skill. With all the skills that are less emphasized in the modern game, why continue to take more skill out?
