@Ron_Trades@SixSigmaCapital I don’t invest based on technicals and am more or less completely indifferent to that.. was off-put by the pattern of how badly they’ve missed their guides in the past.. especially 1H 26. It’s not fair to investors so naturally it makes me hesitate to invest. Will keep an eye out
@ariaradnia Non-GAAP forward PE is an abused metric. It’s extremely misleading if you’re talking about companies like PINS TEAM TTD HUBS. HUBS and APP valuations aren’t remotely close after SBC!
@StockMarketNerd Sometimes retail apparel can get super cheap. $ANF was still growing the topline, huge net cash position and was trading at around a 15% FCF yield a few times. So that would be my game-plan with $LULU.
@aegoncap I call them “qualitative bros.” Poor instinct/feel for valuation of equities across the markets.. never take big swings, follows the herd and justifies the majority sentiment.
The market has hypothesized everything that could theoretically go wrong with $APP's business model since the slight miss on Q2 earnings. (Thanks
$TTD).
This will be looked back on in a year as a case of overthinking and analysis paralysis.
Watch.
@CKCapitalxx I wish they’d guide EPS. Their EBITDA guide next year isn’t consolidated, and the FCF they report isn’t just a standard cash from operations less capex. Perhaps I’m splitting hairs but it almost feels like they are upselling their own financials. Just give an EPS number.
@nivelvart@Stockfins Appreciate your comment.. taking a deep dive this wknd. It’s more of an “investing philosophy” I have in practice and not an inditement on $FTAI
The valuation is compelling relative to its growth so I may bend my rules a bit. And Power could be a huge catalyst.
@rdshipway@DumbMoneyTV It’s trading at almost a 20% FCF less SBC yield for 2027 and has a huge net cash pile. There are better shorting opportunities out there.
How cheap is Applovin? Well, it now trades at *almost* the same valuation as Etsy
$APP
– 61% rev growth
– 77% operating margins
$ETSY
– 3.7% rev growth
– 16% operating margins
Make it make sense
@Stockfins Not sure if it quite gets there but who knows with this skittish market. That would put it around 6.5x forward EV/EBITDA based on its current net debt position and mgmt’s 2027 EBITDA guide. On 60%+ revenue growth next year that would be a hell of a deal.
