Some salient points I found in India-Japan Joint Declaration on Economic Security Cooperation:
1. In this declaration both sides expressed grave concern on “economic coercion” including export controls on critical minerals supposedly targeting China
2. Establishing 1.5 Track Dialogue on economic security between Government, Industry and domain export and establishing point of contact to promote cooperation on shared list of projects
3. Providing technical assistance to upskill Indian trainers in semi conductor industry
4. Technical cooperation between Geological organisations on exploration of critical minerals
5. Through AI security dialogue and Economic security dialogue that have been happening in both countries since few months, they will tackle Supply dependencies in AI
6. Establish a clean ammonia project in Odisha
7. Memorandum of Cooperation in field of batteries
8. Investigate vulnerabilities of each ingredient and explore alternative supply chain in Active Pharmaceutical ingredient
i'm receiving so much love from a few minority 'liberals' who believe majoritarian communal violence should be combated only when it is directed at them
@HappymonJacob Principle based criticism shouldn’t be campist. If you oppose American invasion on basis of anti imperialism, you cannot support iranian regime oppressing their women.
If you oppose the former but are silent on later then your view cannot be explained by moral principles
Commitment to ‘Free and open Indo-Pacific’ has been an important strategic pillar of Indian foreign policy since past decade. Indian Ocean and Pacific frontier is intrinsically linked and expecting us to discard our Indo Pacific policy due to one American President is idiotic.
Japan is the architect of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific,” a concept authored by late Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that became the linchpin of America's regional strategy. Today, despite Washington dropping “Indo” from “Indo-Pacific,” Japan is still sticking to the term “Indo-Pacific” and the concept of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific,” as Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi emphasized during her just-concluded visit to New Delhi for the 16th Japan-India Annual Summit.
My small take on this:
India sending Delegation led by MoS and Bihar Governor is a downgrade to what we sent during funeral of Former President Ebrahim Raisi (we had sent Vice President back then). While the exact reason of this ‘demotion’ in delegation isn’t known (could be US or Israel or UAE or mixture of all these), in my personal opinion this sends a wrong signal for Iranian leadership when it comes to India-Iran Bilateral relationship
That being said some sections of Foreign policy analysts attach way too much importance to this relationship. India’s Iran policy won’t and shouldn’t change drastically. The political and economic relationship will remain more or less the same. One war cannot and shouldn’t alter our entire calculus.
We need dynamism in foreign policy not haphazardness
Spokesperson of MFA: The so-called concept of "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" goes against the regional countries’ shared aspirations for peace, development and cooperation, and will never win genuine recognition.
Safeguarding postwar international order and purposes and principles of the UN Charter is the foundation of the prosperity and stability in the Asia Pacific, as well as the shared responsibility of regional countries.
It is more imperative than ever for regional countries to uphold the right course of Asia-Pacific cooperation, work together to build an Asia Pacific that is prosperous, stable, open, interconnected, universally beneficial, inclusive, united and mutually supportive.

@KanwalSibal So a journalist doing their work is “interfering in democratic affairs”? Sibalji, unlike what your masters think, India is a democratic country. Maybe the real anti-nationals are people like you who refuse to believe in democratic ethos of this country
A child scolds a poor coconut vendor, who sells door to door trying to make ends meet in scorching Indian summers, to “take back his plastic,” while adults celebrate it as “standing up to a grown-up.”
Then the mother of the said child appears on camera, fully decked out in 20+ makeup products for that perfect dewy glow… Guess what those products are sold in? You guessed it right — plastic packaging!
This is what insulated privilege looks like.
