Just so we’re all clear here, the Pohlad’s put the Minnesota Twins up for sale in October 2024.

In March 2025 @TheAthletic reported the Twins being more than $425M in debt.

They went 5 months with a lone interested party, Justin Ishbia.

Then they revealed their balance sheet problem, of which the VAST majority is not baseball related debt and was rolled into their asset that they have never successfully known how to manage.

In August 2025, they took the team off the market and brought on minority owners because they have a cash flow and debt problem.

If you have ever needed evidence that not a single person still living in the family has any clue how to run a successful business, or should be in charge of such an asset, they just provided a public case study.
