GP working in the community referred someone with ? Appendicitis. History was inconsistent but accepted the referral anyway to see her. Was been told, 'don't know what grade you work in but this is sure appendicitis' and dropped the phone.

Lesson learnt: Please don't be a d*** while referring to others. We all are already stressed enough!

Patient came in ED and somehow ED missed the bit on letter surgically expected. Seen by them and discharged within couple of hours with a diagnosis of bony pain secondary to already know OA.
