Epidemic of religious psychosis. I believe in God, but He’s not the cause of your problems, or Nigeria’s problem.
If the country worked, the way it should, I bet there will be 90% drop in church attendance. Because the prayer of an average Nigerian is literally what they should have access to by default as a citizen in a working country.
And the funny part is, the average Nigerian is selfish, “once e good for me and my family, i don’t care about any other person”, this very mentality is embedded even in the so called prayers that’s not even working.
Market women praying for the downfall of their enemies, meanwhile it’s just mama nkechi or iya shade who just happens to be selling the same thing you’re selling. Just 2 shops away. Or someone will share testimony where a jamb center failed , and everyone in the center missing results except you, cause apparently you serve a living god. And everyone will cheer instead of questioning the right authorities why a jamb center should still have faulty systems in this current era of technology .
So even if the prayers truly worked, the average Nigerian Christian, is praying not for the collective betterment of the country, they are just praying to be better than their neighbors.
