Here is what we know about the JRC & the GED ban that was overruled by the D.C. Circuit Court:

1. The JRC never had to stop shocking students.

2. The GEDs they use now (GED-3a & GED-4) have never been approved by the FDA & got an exemption due to an error in 2000

Disability Day of Mourning is why disabled people fight so fervently to have our experiences heard above those who seek to erase us by perpetuating harmful stereotypes because they “have a disabled family member.”
