Yesterday I had the honor of visiting multiple communities across Chicago.

First stop was the 45th Ward Flag Day Ceremony at Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce, celebrating the 250th birthday of the American flag. I want to thank all of our Veterans for your service, sacrifice, and dedication. We appreciate you, we thank you, and we love you. It was also good to see 45th Ward Alderman James Gardiner and Dale Tippett as we came together to honor our nation’s heroes.

Second stop was lunch at Bust Outs, a local small business with Alderman Jim Gardiner. This is exactly what we should see in our neighborhoods, creative Chicago-owned businesses building jobs, culture, and community. I had the Brown Line Burger, and it was excellent.
As Mayor, I will cut red tape, improve safety, and support small businesses so they can truly thrive.

Final stop was Premier Senior Living at Norwood Crossing in the 41st Ward, where I met, spoke with, and hugged some of our amazing seniors. They shared their stories and what matters most to them, and I’m coming back because their voices matter. I look forward to bringing something uplifting on my next visit.
This is what public service is about, listening, showing up, and serving the people.

🚨 ANOTHER BRAND NEW VIDEO DIRECT FROM IRAN: The message is clear: "ARM US." The Iranian people are explicitly demanding weapons to fight back, painting the call to arms right onto the street and chanting it out loud in broad daylight.

Ordinary citizens inside Iran are sending a steady stream of these videos directly to me, risking everything to break through the silence. In this latest footage, a man has written "ARM US" across a busy public road, executing this defiance directly underneath Islamic Republic flags lining the median and right across from a massive state propaganda billboard.

He isn't just leaving a visual mark. On the audio track, he explicitly demands in English, "Please arm the Iranian people," before declaring in Persian, "This is the last battle; Pahlavi is returning." Speaking these words and painting this demand on an open street during the day carries an immediate death sentence, but the fear is completely gone.

For the millions he represents, arming themselves is now a tactical necessity for survival. Peaceful protest against live ammunition has proven impossible. They aren't asking for foreign boots on the ground; they are asking for the basic means to fight back against a systemic slaughter. And let’s be clear: the only viable path to effectively arming the Iranian people is through direct coordination with Prince Reza Pahlavi and his team.

He risked his life in broad daylight to deliver this proof straight from the ground. More people need to amplify his call. Do not let the regime bury his bravery.

Even Democrats now poll at 71% for deporting criminal illegals.
