@lucknow_index Since 2decades we have been hearing about it every year .This is greatly needed to ease out traffic congestion in areas Hazratgnj,Hussaingnj,Charbgh which get chokedUp everyday during peak hours.
Hope the work commences this time.

@Benarasiyaa It took doubleengine govt 10years just to sanction second metroline and work hasn’t even started while daily traffic worsens. At this rate their planned 12new lines will take over a century.

It took 8 years to approve a single line.
So called speed of काम दमदार, डबल इंजन सरकार
Considering the traffic congestion in the capital atleast 2 more lines should have been approved or under construction.

@amitabhk87 If the so called double engine govt @UPGovt didn't have neglected 2 of its biggest cities Lucknow and Kanpur in their last 8 yrs. Even these cities could have been major economic centres in north India.
Seems like a lost race for these cities.
