One of the most beautiful things to happen since Oct 7th is decades of Salafi propaganda unraveling. The ummah is realising that its biggest enemies are the Salafis and Gulf states. And its biggest defenders are the ones the Salafis spread lies about: the Shia of Imam Ali a.s.
Kashmiri separatism is a Pakistani nationalist project, and not an Islamic cause, and we're not accountable for it. Their misuse of Islamic rhetoric should not sway us.
Kashmiris have contributed nothing to Indiam Muslim community, while enjoy special treatment & perks from them.
At some point @INCIndia will realise that they win State elections in spite of @RahulGandhi and not because of him. Likewise the votes and seats in the General Election.
Rahul Gandhi has become the single most important reason for Modi continuing in power.
The inability of the Congress to dislodge him and identify a capable leader is today the biggest stumbling block to creating an Opposition that can take on the BJP. His statement on the economy being dead issue should be the last straw to convince Congress leaders that he simply does not have it in him to be a leader. Even a newbie politician would have stood up for India and taken on Trump while doing the Modi bashing on the side.
The incompetence of the LOP is costing India dear. It is allowing an awful Govt to get away with gross misgovernance.
The right approach now is to appear harmless while rapidly industrializing. Work in silence, let your success make the noise.
Behaving like superpower before we actually become one just to boost the ego of bholu nationalist crowd is LadliBehna-fication of foreign policy.
I dont need to be apolitical as I am not in services. Even if I were, I might have stated as under:
If there is ever a competition of idiocity, this guy will top every single time. He can never ever catch the public sentiment, leave part getting other things right.
I have said it before and I will say it again. As is obvious, India needs a Prime Minister in the future who has these three essential attributes ( there are many, but these are crucial):
A good understanding of foreign policy and national security ( not just driven by inputs from bureaucrats and experts etc). A statesman, not a politician.
A solid knowledge of economics: If you don’t know your finance and macroeconomics, you automatically disqualify yourself. India cannot afford a populist sans core economic wisdom.
A genuinely inclusive individual who inspires oneness, who loves engaging with people and the media , and welcomes criticism.
This has to be clearly said.
India does not have allies. It will never naturally fit with the west because it isn’t white. It won’t fit with Russia because Russia needs China to survive. It won’t fit with Middle East and gradually Africa due to religion and culture. It won’t a vessel state to nefarious designs of powers and thus, won’t get in their good books.
The journey to India’s domination will be lonely, troubling and full of hurdles. We need to accept that and stop simping for anyone- be it Trump, Putin, Macron or MBS.
Sorry, India needs a very educated leader who can negotiate, understand and take decisions directly without the aid of bureaucracy and others.
India is the most complex country in the world to administer. Sadly, ‘uneducated humble beginnings’ are only good for Bollywood scripts.
As long as Pakistan uses its territory for terrorism against India, there can be no permanent peace. #Ceasefire or no ceasefire we must pursue the terrorists responsible for #Pahalgam attack.
I have always stood by the government & the armed forces against external aggression. This will continue.
I thank the armed forces for their bravery & their commendable skill. I pay homage to Army jawan, M Murali Naik, ADDC Raj Kumar Thapa & pray for all the civilians who were killed or injured during the conflict.
I hope this ceasefire gives respite to the people living in border areas.
I also hope that Indians and Indian political parties learn from the past two weeks: India is strong when it is united; our enemies benefit when Indians fight Indians.
I have some questions, and I hope the government will clarify:
1. I wish our PM @narendramodi had announced the ceasefire rather than the President of a foreign country. We have always been opposed to third party intervention since Simla (1972). Why have we now accepted it? I hope the Kashmir issue will not be internationalised, as it is our internal matter.
2. Why are we agreeing to talk on a neutral territory? What will be the agenda of these talks? Does the United States guarantee that Pakistan will not use its territory for terrorism?
3. Have we achieved our aim of deterring Pakistan from carrying out future terror attacks? Was our goal to get a Trump-brokered ceasefire or was it to bring Pakistan to such a position that it would not even dream of another terror attack?
4. We must continue the international campaign to put Pakistan in the FATF grey list.
