if you've ever been in a position similar to hers you know you gotta bring up that you don't play around when it comes to tv shows for pre-teens so you don't get socially murdered later
@squidasss I don't really think one i better for certain genres. but I preferAbleton for techno and house(what I make). I mean Gerhard behles and Robert Henke, the founders, were techno producers.
also fl has a long history with trap producers so a lot of people prefer it for that
@squidasss about the workspace: with Ableton basically everything you work is on the screen. where as in fl there are a LOT more sub menus which can be irritating sometimes.
@squidasss as someone who uses both: the stock plugins in Ableton are superior and features like auto quantisation are amazing. but I prefer the workflow of fl, for example; Abletons piano roll is fiddly and it takes me about 3x more time to punch in melodys.
