Only four days left until the August 4th primary and Traverse City showed out today for our meet and greet with former Senator @Stabenow! We're building a winning coalition that’ll keep MI blue. 💙
I want @neeratanden on Live shouting at MI voters
“Sexist! Misogynist! If you don’t vote for a woman you hate all women!!!!”
why isn’t that message breaking through?
Emily’s List lost their credibility going all-in for Aipac Haley, who enjoys it when Israel bombs women and girls in Gaza
Don’t Palestinian women and girls deserve to live?
Republicans have lost their credibility. @emilyslist candidates are filling the gap, and showing voters they’ll stand up, fight for us, and actually work to make our lives better.
As Dems scramble to consolidate against Will Lawrence in the #MI07 primary, the CBC-allied Rolling Sea Action Fund, which previously was only spending against Lawrence, is now spending for Matt Maasdam: https://t.co/oD0Fg3UhyG
People like @neeratanden, @jessicamackler and @shannonrwatts should be embarrassed. They inject woke identity politics into every election where there’s a pro-Israel female candidate running and say it’s SEXISM to even think about criticizing them.
@jessicamackler Enough! Just because a candidate is a woman doesn’t make them inherently better or worse. It isn’t misogyny to run against a woman for office!
She isn’t the incumbent in the race. Just admit Dem voters are sick of politicians who root for the IDF when they go on their child-shooting sprees
People see the bloodlust and devotion to Israel and are sick of it!
Mamdani keeps stepping on rakes in a way that has to worry his supporters.
The Mamdani controversies (this list of homeowners, excluding Jewish lawyers from a list) weren't fights he was looking to pick. City Hall is missing some normal, hacky political radar to flag what's about to cause a controversy, and allows the mayor to pick battles.
Non-Lawrence vote is greater than Lawrence vote in #MI07.
And yet Bridget Brink, seeing the same trends in polling - has decided to stay in this race and play spoiler.
@MattMaasdam is the only candidate who can win and flip this seat for Democrats and the GOP knows it - that's why they're spending over $1 million to attack him in the closing week.
“Some of the candidates challenging Wasserman Schultz also denounced the Congressional Black Caucus for not publicly speaking out against Wasserman Schultz. ‘Our House is not in order because the Congressional Black Caucus … is not on our side’” https://t.co/8SI5uya4Sy
Black officials are poised to lose ground in Congress and the CBC is spending a million dollars to defeat Lawrence, who is running against two white candidates btw
Has CBC spent anything to help @DonavanMI13 against Shri? Of course not
Another note here: Lawrence has focused his campaign on stopping data centers, a very popular position, a trend we're seeing with left-wing candidates.
The GOP PAC that's trying to boost him cites a bunch of progressive issues but not data centers! Memo not out yet
I actually think there's going to be an interesting lane open in the 2028 presidential primary for a Dem who just ignores the Israel-Palestine debate and focuses 100% on domestic issues.
Most Dems will employ left-wing staffers obsessed with this issue. The media will definitely be obsessed with it. This will likely exhaust and annoy voters.
If a moderate Dem said, "I don't care about Gaza, I care about Erie, Pennsylvania" I think they could really win a heavy chunk of the vote.
A lot of people hate AIPAC! But the voters for whom "hating AIPAC" is their top issue have already been El-Sayed voters for months.
People who are deciding on Israel/Palestine have already decided. Voters who are undecided are undecided because this is not their issue.
