"I know what I'm capable of, and I know what this team is capable of, and it's my job to help us win and be the best team in the WNBA, and I don't think we're there yet, so it's my responsibility to help us get there, so we'll keep working."
Caitlin Clark after her record-setting 45-point, 10-assist performance in the win over the Storm.
The account that broke the Bryson story had never tweeted before.
Its first-ever tweet just happened to move a major championship? Weird.
Now imagine a world where people involved in the broadcast are betting on the event while deciding which shots to air then amplify online.
In my opinion, with the depth of field issues with TV cameras and no definitive camera angles of his swing path, there cannot be conclusive video evidence that Bryson improved his lie or swing path. In cases like this the benefit of doubt should go to the player. I don't like this decision.
You can stomp the fescue to get a stance.
You can stomp the fescue to line up your shot.
It just can’t affect the swing path or lie.
Bryson adamantly claims it did not, and up until 90 minutes ago this was a self policing game. A game of honor where you’d take the players word for it unless you had clear and obvious evidence showing otherwise.
Now they’ve said they don’t believe him and assessed a penalty with nothing more than shoddy camera angles.
All pretty gross.
Tell you what, if Bryson gets penalized here, then every single one of Wyndham Clark’s career wins should be rescinded. He does shit like this 5 times a round.
Genuinely would support Bryson withdrawing if they assess this penalty.
Plenty of asterisk jokes to be made but this one’s a bit absurd. It’s a game of integrity and if you are going to overrule the player with shoddy camera angles, why even ask his opinion?
Games gone.
dont talk to me about data centers and water usage if youre not also calling to imprison the entire canadian parliament for causing 100 years of air pollution in one week with poor forest management
This has nothing to do with climate change btw.
It's caused entirely by poor forestry management, a failure to maintain fire fighting infrastructure while sending billions in foreign aid to the third world, and inevitably deranged activist arsonists.
Imagine being a G7 country and not having enough water bombers because you’ve sent untold billions of dollars to degenerates and various third world shitholes.
